Did we move to Alaska?!

Well we are home again today. It was a beautiful day yesterday. The sun came out but the temps. never got passed 23 so nothing melted. Kaitlin and I are enjoying another fun snow day at home. Right now it is cloudy,foggy and spitting more snow. We will be lucky if the temps make it to 32 today. I am not sure if school will be in session even tomorrow. We have so many country roads and even the side roads in town arent great so it is hard for buses to get around. I say we just make it a week and start fresh Monday.
Kaitlin and Max have loved playing in the snow. Kaitlin started a snow man, jump roped in the snow, and threw snowballs for Max to catch. Max is a wildman in the snow. He loves running in it and eating it. Here are some more pictures of our snow days!!!

Winter Wonderland!! :)

I just thought I would share some of the beautiful winter pictures. We began getting freezing rain Monday afternoon and it got slick in a hurry. The freezing rain eventually turned into sleet, and last night we finally got 3 to 4 inches of snow. It seems like in Missouri we have just been getting a lot of ice the past few years instead of snow. We were all so excited to see the snow coming down so heavy last night. It was just beautiful!! Of course people who have to get out and work in this mess probably think otherwise. Kaitlin and I have been enjoying our days off. We have been reading, watching movies, making hot chocolate, and doing a few cleaning projects around the house. So far we have missed two days of school and tomorrow isnt looking too promising our temperatures are only supposed to get into the lowers 20's today which will not do much melting. Max definetly loves the snow. He has enjoyed running around playing ball. I hope everyone else is having a great day.
