Kaitlin's First day in 4th grade!!!

Kaitlin had a wonderful first day at school. I can't believe that she is in 4th grade this year!! She picked out a new dress from the outlet mall in Branson for her first day outfit. She looked sooo cute. This year Kaitlin and I are at different buildings so that has been really strange. I miss seeing her throughout the day. John took both of us to school for the first day. When he picked us up afterschool he surprised us by taking us out to eat to Hinodes. It was very yummy!! It has been a great first two days of school. I am excited for the weekend though. The first week of school seems to be sooo exhausting. I am hoping to catch up on my house work this weekend. I hope everyone else is having a great week.

Family Fun!!

Sorry I have been such a bad blogger lately. We have been so extremly busy I haven't had time to update our blog. Kaitlin and I have 11 and half days left of school. (Whose counting though right?!!) I love Spring and Summer time so much!! I love seeing the grass turn green, flowers blooming, and trees coming back to life. This week and it looks like next we have have had very little sun and lots and lots of rain. April showers bring May flowers though right?!

Kaitlin will be in 4th grade next year!! This is really hard to believe. She is growing way too fast. She has also been with the same class and teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade because she was with the looping program so it is going to be really hard to leave that. Kaitlin has a busy and fun summer planned. She will be starting baseball soon. She is going to the enriched summer school session for 3 weeks from 8:00 until 12:00. Finally she will be attending her first church camp. She is soooo excited for church camp. It is not until July 12th but she told us the other night that she better start sleeping in her sleeping bag in the living room on July 1st so that she is prepeared. How cute!! I will be going as the cabin mom so pray for me. I know we will have lots of fun!!

I am preparing to move to the new 2nd and 3rd grade building so my nights have been filled with packing, packing, and more packing. Two nights last week I worked until 8:45. The movers are coming to pick up the first round of boxes this week. I am really excited though for the new building. I have such a wonderful district to work for!!! Not to mention this time of year is full of field trips, track n field days, etc.. Needless to say I am in need of some definite relaxation time.

John has been staying busy as well. I don't know how he does all that he has on his plate. His business is going well. He is also the President of the Rogersville Chamber this year. Oh and I almost forgot he is taking 15 college hours this semester working on his masters degree. He is taking some really hard classes such as Stats and Calculus. YUCK!! He is sooo smart though. I am very proud of how hard he works.

This past weekend we had the pleasure of having the 3 Prevo kids spend the night. We had such a great time with them. I wish we had more time to see all of our nieces and nephews. They are all growing up so fast. I hope everyone is doing great and we will talk to you soon.

Glamorous Hollywood Girls!!

It has been awhile since we have posted. We have been busy as usual. This week we are celebrating Kait's 9th birthday. Although it is more like a birthday week versus just a day. John got up and made Kaitlin chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream for a special breakfast. He also brought her lunch from the local Mexican Restaurant. We took Kait out to eat the night of her birthday to Hindoe's. This is her favorite Japanese Steakhouse because they cook in front of you. Next we went on a shopping spree. She was so cute!!! She is really getting to that age in which she loves shopping. Oh boy we are in trouble. She would try on outfits and then dance in the mirror. This Saturday she is celebrating her birthday with her friends at Jordan Valley Ice Park. It should be a lot of fun.

John has been staying busy with the roller coaster market, but we know that God is always in control so we are not worried. He is recovering from having bronchitis last week. The poor thing was sooo sick. I was really worried about him. However I think he learned his lesson that when your wife says go to the doctor you go.

These pictures today are from our spirit day at school called "Hollywood Day." This was in honor of our book fair. The kids get to vote at the book fair for Ms. Hollywood so keep your fingers crossed that I win.

Did we move to Alaska?!

Well we are home again today. It was a beautiful day yesterday. The sun came out but the temps. never got passed 23 so nothing melted. Kaitlin and I are enjoying another fun snow day at home. Right now it is cloudy, foggy and spitting more snow. We will be lucky if the temps make it to 32 today. I am not sure if school will be in session even tomorrow. We have so many country roads and even the side roads in town arent great so it is hard for buses to get around. I say we just make it a week and start fresh Monday.
Kaitlin and Max have loved playing in the snow. Kaitlin started a snow man, jump roped in the snow, and threw snowballs for Max to catch. Max is a wildman in the snow. He loves running in it and eating it. Here are some more pictures of our snow days!!!
